During this participatory workshop, we will use guided improvisation techniques to explore our bodies, gestures, and imagination, experimenting with new forms of expression in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

A single body traverses intimate and primordial territories, searching for a rhythm that arises from within. Solitude becomes fertile ground for discovering new strengths, balanced between fragility and resilience. Instinct guides a journey that is simultaneously memory and future, root and impulse. Every gesture is born as the trace of a personal ritual, both delicate and wild. What emerges is an essential journey, where the body becomes a community of impulses and visions.
Pablo Girolami was born in Switzerland and trained artistically abroad, yet holds deep Italian roots. Friuli-Venezia Giulia is his family’s native land, and he chose to return here to find a welcoming and inspiring environment to foster his professional growth. Building on the artistic wealth acquired during his career as a professional dancer for major European companies—such as the Hessisches Staatsballett and Spellbound Contemporary Ballet—Girolami feels a strong desire to share his background. He aims to connect not only with the dancers of his own company but also with the broader Italian dance community, promoting his work as a choreographer and celebrating the land to which he is inextricably bound.
Pablo Girolami works as a freelance choreographer and is the Artistic Director of IVONA. He also creates original works for various companies and schools, including Jerusalem Dance Theater, Nuovo Balletto di Toscana, EgriBianco Danza, Equilibrio Dinamico, Kseij Dance Company, The LabCollective, TanzWerk101 Zürich, and ChoreoLab – Made in Ulm.

This round table brings together the three contemporary dance companies of Friuli Venezia Giulia officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Culture: IVONA, Bellanda, and Arearea. A moment of dialogue and exchange dedicated to the languages of contemporary creation, artistic journeys, and the future perspectives of dance within the region.
The meeting is open to the general public and free of charge.

NLOCC – Nexus Luminoso Oltre i Confini del Corpo explores the encounter between human essence and artificial intelligence, intertwining bodily movement with reflections on the relationship between human and machine thought. The body becomes the vehicle for an urgent question: who are we when thought mirrors itself in the algorithm?
The research investigates the relationship between body, music, and emerging technologies, exploring artificial intelligence as a compositional tool for creating dystopian imaginaries. Since 2005, Anna Savanelli has collaborated with Compagnia Arearea, whose poetic approach lies in questioning the conventional uses and dynamics of the stage and the public square.

The truth of the body takes precedence over eloquence, creating an atmosphere suspended between wakefulness and hallucination, where doubt slips across their fragile boundary. Every gesture becomes a ritual, a dance of love and control. The moral of the tale? There is no wisdom in love.
Founded and based in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Compagnia Bellanda is the first Italian urban dance (breakdance) company to be officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC) as a production organization. With a strong artistic identity and a contemporary vision, the company presents its creations on stages across Italy, Europe, and overseas.

One moment stirs the next, one choice shifts another. Guidance that is always with us. It gives us people and directions. Sometimes we are in tune with it, and sometimes we are just not careful enough to notice it, so we lose it. How small movement can be enough. How to fight your urge not to give 100% of your energy on stage. How not to attack the sounds, just really embody what you hear. How to connect if you have no physical contact. How not to take yourself too seriously and enjoy your time on stage. ba-da-dum
Ki Collective is a choreographic duo formed by Iga Włodarczyk and Katarzyna Zakrzewska, two independent dancers and choreographers from Poland. United by a shared commitment to exploring and refining their artistic language, they premiered their first collaborative work in early 2025. Since then, they have become finalists of the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition (RIDCC 2025), been invited to present their work at Fagagna Dance Festival in Italy, and selected for the ICC Linkage Competition in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Their performance has also been presented at Ciało/Umysł Festival in Kraków and Dance Frame Festival in Sofia. In July, they will perform at Teatri Riflessi 11, an international competition for short stage works in Italy. As an emerging collective, they continue to develop their artistic vision, deepen their practice, and search for new ways of transforming artistic curiosity into movement.
