Quebranto – Bruno Jorge Duarte

Concept, Performance, and Original Music: Bruno Duarte
Additional Music: Field recordings by Michel Giacometti
Costume Design: Zalda
Rehearsal Photography: Ester Gonçalves

Quebranto is a solo that emerges from the fissures of memory – from the invisible yet persistent pulse of a rural childhood lived in the small village of Amor in the heart of Leiria, Portugal. It is a choreographic excavation of a personal archive made of superstition, whispered prayers, home remedies, gestures of protection, and rituals of invisible repair. The piece unfolds within a dialogue between sound and movement – a feedback loop where each action has its own resonance and consequence.

Bruno Duarte is the resident choreographer at Companhia de Dança de Almada. He is a PhD researcher in Contemporary Art and holds a Master’s degree in Dance Teaching, as well as a degree in Dance from Escola Superior de Dança in Lisbon. Since 2011, he has been performing and creating dance works for the stage and video dance, which have been presented in different countries across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Sweet lure – Luis Tena Torres

Choreography: Luis Tena Torres
Dancers: Giuseppe Caldo, Nicola Prato, Noa Siluvangi, Rina Hayashi

This piece reflects on the paradox of attraction. Inspired by the Curie point—the temperature at which metals lose their magnetism—the choreography explores the invisible forces that draw bodies toward one another.

In our pursuit of an idealized, and often overrated, magnetism in others, we end up turning ourselves into bait for what we long to capture… only to discover, in the end, that we are the ones who have been caught.

What begins as fascination gradually dissolves, just as magnetism fades under the influence of heat.

Luis Tena Torres, born in Valencia, completed his dance training at the Professional Conservatory of Dance of Valencia. He began his professional career at Staatstheater Nürnberg, where he danced from 2013 to 2019 under the artistic direction of Goyo Montero, collaborating with numerous internationally renowned choreographers.During the 2019/20 season, he joined the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich.Throughout his career, he has appeared as a guest artist at numerous galas and events in Germany, Italy, and Spain. Since the 2020/21 season, he has been a member of the Ballet of the Nationaltheater Mannheim, where he was awarded Dancer of the Year and has taken part in numerous choreographic projects, both within the company and through external artistic collaborations.

ANXIOUS DREAM – Edoardo Chirico

Choreography: Edoardo Chirico
Music: Ce sont deux choses complètement différentes – Marek Hunhap / Lovers In Flames – Croatian Amor / Ghetto 2084 – Natif Orchestra / The Dream Thief – Echologist / Enfys Nest – AGF

Anxious Dream gives shape to the darkness of the mind, turning fear into movement. Deformed bodies, distorted visions, and an electric atmosphere lead the audience into a dreamlike landscape where reality and nightmare blur, revealing the fragile boundary between the conscious and the unconscious.

Edoardo Chirico is a contemporary dance artist exploring the relationship between the body, movement, and emotional experience. Through physical research and performance, he creates works that bring invisible inner landscapes to life, examining fragility, tension, and transformation.
