Call for the selection of two dance performances to be included in the Fagagna Dance Festival, organized by the House of IVONA Association under the artistic direction of Pablo Girolami.

Call for the selection of two contemporary dance projects to be included in the programme of Fagagna Dance Festival 2026, organized by the House of IVONA Association under the artistic direction of Pablo Girolami.

The Fagagna Dance Festival is a space dedicated to contemporary choreographic research, with a particular focus on emerging artistic languages, short formats, and the relationship between body, space, and community.

The call is open to all languages of contemporary dance and performative research.

Art. 1 – Purpose of the call

The House of IVONA Association launches a call for the selection of two dance projects, as follows:

1. National performance

  • 1 dance project by artists / companies / collectives under 35*
  • with Italian citizenship and/or residency
  • Performance date: 27 September 2026

2. International performance

  • 1 dance project by artists / companies / collectives under 35*
  • with citizenship and/or residency in the European Union
  • Performance date: 27 September 2026

Both performances will be presented as part of the Fagagna Dance Festival 2026, during shared evenings with other artists, at Teatro Sala Vittoria, Fagagna (UD).

Art. 2 – Fee

Each selected project will receive an all-inclusive fee of €1,000.00 + VAT.

The fee includes all expenses:

  • travel
  • accommodation
  • meals


The Association will provide logistical support in identifying accommodation and meal solutions.

Art. 3 – Technical requirements

Performances must:

  • have a duration between 10 and 20 minutes
  • be adaptable to a light technical setup, provided by Teatro Sala Vittoria

Art. 4 – How to apply

Applications must be sent by:
Friday, April 10, 2026 – 2:00 PM

Including the following materials:

  • video link to the complete project (10–20 minutes) on YouTube or Vimeo (download links, WeTransfer, etc. will not be accepted)
  • biography of the artist / company / collective
  • short project synopsis (max. 1000 characters)
  • one or more photos of the project
  • full project credits

Art. 5 – Selection process

Projects will be selected by the Artistic Direction of the Festival.
All decisions are final and non-negotiable.

Selected applicants will be notified via email by:
FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2026

Notes

* “Under 35” refers to individuals who are under 35 years of age as of 27 September 2026.
For groups or companies, at least 70% of the members must meet this requirement.
