The workshop will be in Italian.
During this workshop, we will have the opportunity to explore the world of IVONA through the company’s working methods.
The workshop will begin with the characteristic warm-up of the company, known as “The Tubes,” a dynamic and intimate experience that will prepare body and mind for the exploration of the repertoire.
Subsequently, we will have the opportunity to learn selected excerpts from IVONA’s repertoire, guided directly by Pablo Girolami and the company’s dancers. An opportunity to immerse ourselves in the artistic language and creative process that characterize IVONA’s productions.

Sharing Project Per-Forma Ona Perez, Regional Premiere – RER\ IVONA di Pablo Girolami
Ona Cros is a multidisciplinar artist from Barcelona, she is currently working as a dancer in laSadcum company, building her own music project and working in an Atelier of wedding dresses and suits.
Her journey began with classical music, theater and urban dance, eventually leading her to collaborate an urban dance company where we fused dance and music in performances across Catalonia. This led her to collaborate with an artist who seamlessly blended various disciplines, sparking her interest into voguing ballroom scene, contemporary dance and vocal harmony.
Synopsis
The performance is a fusion of diverse artistic disciplines, blending sound and motion.
Inspired by the rich cultural landscape of Gorizia and the experiences gathered during the Invisible Cities festival residency, the piece explores the intersection of music, dance, and fashion.
The show is an intimate journey through collected sounds, the colors of autumn, the enchanting parks, and the historical landmarks of Gorizia. The delicate art of Merletto technique serves as a guiding force, influencing the choreography and shaping the sonic landscape of the performance.
As the music shifts in tandem with the movements, the piece creates a space where pain and beauty intertwines, offering a glimpse into the archaic and modern desires that rest within us all. It’s a collage of fantasy and desire that wants to immerse in an emotional journey guided by a delicate movement.

The performance will be followed by a Q&A with the artists and a concert by Guilherme Curado.
Guilherme Curado works across media, crossing video and sound with 3D, building virtual utopian landscapes. Immateriality, fluidity, reflections, in dialogue with the body and identity, serve as a starting point for his reflection on contemporary experience. In his sound practice, he focuses on creating dreamlike environments, using them as tools to escape reality.
